BahFed Corp, a small, veteran- and minority-owned business, announced today that it was awarded the Second Generation Information Technology (2GIT) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
"Our BahFed team is honored to receive the 2GIT BPA award," says Ken Paul, president of BahFed. "Every day, we strive to bring efficiency and cost-effectiveness to our customers. Being awarded the 2GIT is confirmation of our efforts and the value we offer government agencies."
BahFed—a provider of IT equipment, office supplies and support solutions for federal, state and local government customers—is one of just 56 small businesses in the U.S to be awarded the 2GIT. The contract, with an estimated value of $5.5 billion over five years, is a mandatory use contract for IT product procurement for the United States Air Force. Additionally, it can be used by all federal, state and local government agencies, as well as tribal governments.
"We built this business around providing flexible, fast and affordable solutions for best-in-class hardware, software and other office products," says Paul. "With the 2GIT, BahFed has expanded our ability to serve government customers with best-in-class products, quick delivery and responsive customer service."
